The story takes place over three to four years, primarily in Quebec City, Lévis, and Gaspésie.

It's the story of a 15-year-old girl from Gaspésie, Isabelle Sanschagrin, who, on the night of July 7th, dreams of her future bohemian life and young love, when an intruder enters her home, takes her by surprise, and kills her with a shot to the heart. Her physical body dies, but her soul resists death by passing into a huge cosmic black hole. Suddenly, Isabelle has forgotten everything about her old life. She tries to understand her new ghost identity and piece together The Puzzle Pieces through a series of adventures experienced by other characters whose souls have inevitably become intertwined with hers after this killing.

The guiding principle of the entire trilogy is to discover the perpetrator of this crime and their motives.

In other words, Isabelle Sanschagrin is the matrix of the story; she is the Master Piece of the Puzzle, and the universe of all other volumes and all other characters, who are in their twenties, revolves around her, directly or indirectly.

Déreck Dumondvill is the most important Piece of the Puzzle. It is mainly through this character that the majority of the plot threads and twists of the story pass.

Sunsya Zamie is a very precious Piece in the Puzzle. She is an excellent ally to Déreck Dumondvill, helping him free himself from his inner struggles.

All other characters have a defined role to play in adding more color and romance to the trilogy, creating obstacles along the way to uncover the final intrigue, and bringing more Rage and Passion to the trilogy.
